Dinkelbergmuseum Minseln

In 1986, a sponsoring association for the setting up of a local history museum was founded in Minseln, an incorporated village of Rheinfelden (Baden). The members of the association renovated the attic of the local town hall and converted it into an exhibition room.

Dinkelbergmuseum Since the opening in 2000, visitors find there a collection relating to local history. As to the exhibition, focus is laid upon equipment used in agriculture or domestic economy  dating from the time before or after mechanization of agriculture as well as upon traditional costumes and other historical clothes.
Further items of the exhibition are the water supply in the Dinkelberg region, the forestry and a picture documentation regarding local history. Special exhibitions are arranged on a regular basis.
